absent minibar impractical bathroom

The complimentary minibar, a feature I always looked forward to, was absent despite the high room rate. I found this DISAPPOINTING. At check-in, I received assurances that an arrangement of goods would arrive in my room. nothing materialized. the bathroom's design presented difficulties, especially the need to climb out of a deep bath to use the shower, which I found impractical.

Excellent Hotel Experience

spacious lobby great pool walking distance

I found the lobby and common areas spacious. They were perfect for our group. A pool table, pool and gym were available. Fine pubs and restaurants are within walking distance. The NSW gallery and Botanic Gardens are also nearby.

I noticed some minor maintenance issues.

fresh juices helpful service botanical gardens

The breakfast choices included fresh juices daily. Staff provided helpful service at breakfast and kept busy with guests. I found the location good for restaurants and the botanical gardens nearby.

I found the building to have a bit of dust.

The staff were attentive and helpful. the location is very good. It is close to the botanical gardens. the restaurant had fantastic food!!!

the cleanliness of our room was disappointing. the furniture did not seem well-kept. technology in our room was non existent. the tv was old.

a DREAMY stay by the wharf

lovely start spacious suite useful alexa

the check-in person noticed my birthday from my passport! shortly after, they sent bubbles, a lovely start to the stay. the suite was spacious and oh so comfy, especially the bed. alexa was useful and let me play music. i enjoyed the coffee maker and even bath salts for a nice soak after sightseeing.

I found very poor signage for the hotel. You don't see the hotel sign until you're about to walk in! there's nowhere to stop to safely drop people and luggage off.

The hotel includes a swimming pool . I saw fun, modern touches to the décor. it has a laid-back feel and the pool area includes comfortable loungers.
